Amongst other things in our home(made) school curriculum are included practical math skills (like measuring, doubling/tripling recipies, estimating, etc) and 'culinary' chemistry. Under loving construction here: Pie crusts for a sweet pumpkin pie.
Izaia can also earn one of her chores by planning and preparing a weekly dinner: this week was spaghetti dinner!
And in other happy news: Meg continues her 'green' ways with a new (o.k. 3rd hand; but isn't that green too?) bike for mother's day. Happy Mother's day to all you big mama's out there. WE love you and so appreciate your love and support!
(yes, she will be biking outside of our living room too!)
